Custom Generator Design and Consultation

Reactive Generators specialises in custom-designed generators, control systems and load transfer systems to suit any requirements. Richly experienced and capable of developing units and systems for various purposes, Reactive Generators offers a comprehensive design and consultation service for all brands of generators and associated systems.

Why do you need a Custom Generator Design?

Generators are a fundamental resource for many homes, businesses, commercial, production and industrial operations. Some units are used as the primary source of power, while others remain on standby for emergencies or one-off events. The type of generator suitable for each situation is highly dependent on how it will be used. Choosing a generator that is too small will ensure that heavy-duty items or essential appliances may not operate to their full capacity. Overloading a generator may also deteriorate the expected lifespan, damage nearby devices or ruin the unit. Conversely, opting for a generator that is too big will incur unnecessary costs for purchase, installation, fuel maintenance and repairs.

Recognising the diverse nature of generator usage, Reactive Generators offers a design and consultation service. We work with our clients to establish their needs, goals and budget, before customising a relevant machine or system. This process will ensure that every client is provided with a high-quality, long-lasting, reliable and suitable unit. We have the experience, staff and resources to deliver your project on-time, on-budget and to your exact requirements. Reactive Generators are committed to creating the perfect generator for you.

The process of Custom Designing a Generator

Reactive Generators is experienced and capable of developing high-quality and custom generators and control systems for every client. This service includes modifications to a standard build, co-generation additions, load transfer systems and schematics, controller conversions, breaker and ATS conversions or upgrades, bump-less transfer systems and approvals and options for a completely custom-built generator package. We work with our clients to identify their goals, needs and budgets, before establishing a personalised design plan. Every process is different, but our approach follows a similar format. An overview of this process is as follows:

Step One:

The first step in custom designing a generator or its associated systems is to meet with our clients and establish their needs, goals and budget. The location, level of usage, desired fuel, power supply and connected loads will all influence the design considerations.

Design and Consultation FAQ

Why should I get a custom-designed generator or system?

Generators are used for a variety of different purposes, meaning the most suitable generator will largely depend on the circumstances. A custom-designed generator or system will ensure that you’re using the most efficient and effective option, consequently reducing unnecessary costs and improving the unit’s expected lifespan. While a custom-designed product may incur some additional upfront costs, using a personalised machine and system will result in long-term savings.
