Reactive Generators offers a complete remote monitoring service

To ensure your generator is ready to start when needed, regardless of where you are, Reactive Generators offers a complete remote monitoring service. Maintaining online or signaling access to your unit will allow you to monitor and interface with your generator and load transfer system 24/7, without needing to be on-site.

What is remote monitoring?

Remote generator monitoring provides virtual access to your unit from anywhere in the world. This service ensures that your device is ready for use when it is required, identifies potential issues before a situation arises and reduces the need for extensive site visits. This proactive approach to generator and load monitoring will limit unnecessary costs, heighten reliability and improve the efficiency of your work. After receiving your authorisation, Reactive Generators will connect with your generator via either telephone, wireless internet, RS232 or RS485. The diversity of connection options maximises reliability and provides a safety-blanket for potential failures due to weather or system malfunctions. Using this signaling or interactive platform, you can:

Monitor health and readiness

Reactive Generators remote monitor services can allow you to review the basic condition of your unit, without needing to visit the site. This overview provides insight into oil pressure, engine temperature, battery voltage, power output, potential mains failure, frequency, fuel levels, engine run time and so on. This data is easily transferable, to ensure you can efficiently and effectively address any issues but is also dependent on your generators available or desired outputs.

Operate and control remotely

Using a Reactive Generators remote monitoring system, you can potentially start and stop your generator or initiate a load transfer from any location. Reducing the number of expensive on-site service visits, you can acknowledge any generated alarms and be prepared to efficiently address the areas of concern should a site visit be deemed necessary due to a critical alarm.

Coordinate generator fleets

Manage large-scale fleets and track the positions and run hours of every generator in real time. The remote dashboard will provide an overview of all of your devices, allowing you to easily monitor your entire collection of generators enabling asset scheduling of maintenance a breeze.

Configure controllers

Remote monitoring services can be combined with your buildings integration systems as well, allowing you to easily control and monitor the generator from your facilities or asset department. This can boost employee productivity, safety and awareness should anything arise that may need broad communication across the workplace.
